Purchasing and Inventory Control Supervisor
We're looking for a purchasing supervisor to take over all the daily activities of the purchasing department, as well as overseeing inventory control functions in the warehouse. Among other things, you'll review purchasing decisions, orders, and vendor contracts and oversee the ordering of materials and supplies from vendors.
This is a hands-on position, requiring familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. You'll need extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You'll personally perform a variety of tasks including preparing purchase orders, researching and evaluating suppliers, analyzing price proposals, monitoring shipments to ensure that goods arrive on time and maintaining and reviewing records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories.
MAS 90/200 (or equivalent) software experience, with an emphasis in the MRP, Inventory, and Purchase Order functions, a definite plus. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office is mandatory.

This position reports directly to the President of the company.
A combination of experience, education and/or APICS certification will give applicants the winning edge.
