I am looking at a 360 on ebay. The seller says its yellow. Could it just be white that has aged that color or relly yellow?

Sometimes white ages to a nice cream color. But I've heard reports of white which turns to various shades of yellow - some of them pretty ghastly sounding.

fears this thread goes to the wrong chapter: Was the "tuxedo-option" only available for 4003? Maybe the talked yellow 330/60 etc. could be a tuxedo one...

Tuxedos were not limited to 4003's. The fretboard would have to be white (or yellow, as the case may be) for it to be a tuxedo.

For what it's worth, we HAVE produced some yellow guitars, years ago, for the German market. I was thinking they were all 620's but it's been a long time. Vintage white is more likely.

Did they give you any idea what is special about the German market that they would want yellow as a color?

The Vintage-hype was/is extremly on going in Germany. "Vintage white" is one of prefered colors on many no-gibson-related guitars, even duesenberg do them. Remind you that fender got´s (the one and only?) "Custom shop lounge" in Düsseldorf, Germany. There is also a huge market for collectors here. Anyway, what "yellow" is talked about? I got the "chris squire"-cream-yellow on my mind...?

A while back, I had an e-mail exchange with Jingle-Jangle and by the time we were done, he had me pretty well convinced a LemonBurst was not only do-able but could look mighty fine on a RIC. Worth some thought.
Best,
