Hi Guys!

I've been a lurker here for ages now, but earlier in the year, I bit the bullet and bought a 4005 as I'd wanted one for...oooh...around 20 years...?! :-)

It's a '74 WB and is in great condition, despite being played lots by it's previous owner.

I managed to score a brand NOS Tolex case for it, too...just as well, as I didn't realise just how wide the body's are (16"!).
Makes a 4003 look very slim!

I also have one of the 25 UK-edition 4003BRG's from a couple of years ago.

As the '05 is quite a rare and exotic creature, I felt that I wouldn't wanna risk dinks, chips, etc, and thought I could buy a cheap copy to play in anger!

Having ruled out the Chinabackers, I was lucky enough to score what I THINK is an Italian '05 copy from the early 2000's...?

I have "played" with this and got to a point where it actually looks and plays very well. (No pics of this as I assume forum rules forbid?)

btw: to post a picture using the "Img" button above, does the picture need to be hosted online?
Or can I simply upload the pic from my PC?

Glad to meet y'all.....!

Here's a better pic of the 4005 and the "player".
Only small due to file size restriction! :-)

Excuse the late response but that's a great Mapleglo version. I received my 4005XC AmberFireglo back in March and it's great also. Cheers!

I owned a Jetglo '67 4005WB for 38 years (I bought it in 1973). It's been gigged everywhere, from college dive bars to big festival stages. Just sayin'. ;)
