In the late 60's-early 70's, my brother worked at a popular music store in Buffalo NY, and said that they had some Rickenbacker guitars come in the store that were labeled "MoonGlo" finish.
They had a dark blackish outer edge, with a orange/reddish middle.
Has anyone on the forum heard of, or maybe have one of these Ric's, and was this an official finish/color by Rickenbacker back in the late 60's-early 70's era.
My brother said that they were labeled "MoonGlo", and did not come up with the name himself, just in case someone here is thinking it!
Maybe some of the older Ric owners can shed some light on this!
