I'm a long time Fender guy, but I recently purchased my first Rickenbacker. It's a 4003, with a "limited edition" finish - Jetglo Pearlstars. I had never seen this finish before, and personally I find it to be quite nice.
I was trying to find some more information about this particular model online, but after much digging, haven't really found the answers I'm looking for. I read on one site that the finish was limited to 30 models. Does anyone know if that's accurate?
I also came across some conflicting information regarding the body material. One site listed it as maple, and another listed it as walnut. Does anyone know what wood may have been used for this run?
Thanks yall!

According to what I've seen, they have walnut bodies with maple neck & fretboards. I like the pearlescent Jetglo finish, very nice. Not sure about the amount produced, but they're usually in smaller batches around 20 or 30.
