Love the tribute on the Rick homepage. Very classy, Mr. Hall.

My very first gig included a Tom Petty song. Tom will be missed. This one hurts.

Tom was critical in bringing back the popularity of Rickenbacker guitars in the late '70s and through the '80s. He had a '60s influence with a modern touch. Mike Campbell deserves a lot of credit too. The 660/12 is a great model. R.I.P.
