NEED ADVICE ON HOW TO TAKE OUT CHASSIS

I'm trying to disassemble this amp. I've removed:
-- speaker
-- 4 screws that secure the chassis from the outside (two on top, two on back)
-- all control knobs
-- nuts on faceplate (only the Master Volume and the two input jack had 1/2" nuts; three total)

-- (the power "On" light housing doesn't seem to want to come off; I suspect that the light bulb is on the chassis and simply fall into place within that red plastic cover when the chassis is fully seated)

The metal sheet covering/serving as the base of the chassis now moves if pushed, but the unit still seems to be secured at the faceplate. I expected the chassis to fall out through the back of the case, leaving the faceplate on the front.

Has anyone disassembled one of these (or similarly assembled) amps before? What should I do next to release the chassis? It could simply be stuck after all these years, yet I don't want to force anything unless I know that this is what I should do. Advice?

OK, nevermind....

The entire chassis/amp comes out through the front opening of the cabinet. There was no need to remove any control knobs.

There is some old paper label stuck on the faceplate, and so this is a good opportunity to remove it. It's soaking in a good coating layer of "Goo Gone" solvent now.

My project is to replace the 2-wire ungrounded electrical cord with a 3-wire, grounded cord. I'll post photos when I finish.

I completed the electrical cord change last weekend. I'd have to post about 12 photos to really show the journey. If there is any interest in seeing them and if the Mods allow that many photos, I'll post them with narrative, and a disclaimer!

Anyway,.... if you look at the disassembled amp, your romantic notion of Mojo may be forever affected. Maybe you shouldn't look.

I had a TR-25 when I had my 650D and, stooopid me, I sold it to get the bucks to purchse one of those that go to "11". One of the biggest mistakes I ever made, aside from selling my old 4001 and my 650D. Well, I'm happy to say that I've got a new 4003 and I should be recieving my RG-30 today. Unfortunately, my other guitar is a Gibson SG and NOT a 650D. Man I wish I still had that 650D.
