ps on youtube if you search "[name of the song] isolated guitar" there's plenty of interesting stuff, I guess they got it from rock band. for example here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od7PBZ3fFj0

at 0:32 seems like he's playing some sort of D6/9 thing like this:

---7---
---7---
---6---
---0---

over the D chord, pretty hard to tell when you're listening to the whole thing isn't it? :)

The Beatles recording and publishing contract (written in German) with Bert Kaempfert Productions on behalf of Polydor Records signed on June 19, 1961 is on the auction block. The contract includes the signatures of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Pete Best. This recording session included the songs "My Bonnie," "Ain't She Sweet," and "Cry For A Shadow" which featured John playing his '58 Rickenbacker 325. Not long after this, more fame for The Beatles and Rickenbacker.
