Hello All!! I have a Rickenbacker 12" amp tolex/chrome with Jensen special design... but with no model number. I have looked through this site and on numerous Wiki/blog sites... I haven't seen one exactly like it. I have had it since 1983... original owner.... It SOUNDs KILLER still after all these years.

check out the photos... it is in MINT museum condition!

What is it?? does anybody know what the wattage is?? I think based on the tube design--somewhere between 8-15 watts??

Thanks in advance for your info!!

Looks like a B-9A

http://www.rickresource.com/register/in ... 31&order=5

The best way to date the amp, is look at the pots. They will read 137 XXYY. The XX is the year, the YY is the week/52. 137 6540 is made in 40th week of 1965.

I havnt had a US amp in a few and I know these are older but are they any good like the old stuff? I would like to run a US AMPS amp again...but this forum is a little slim on info here the last few years.I was going to pick up a md42 and bridge it for my fronts if its not too big.
