Hi, I'm a luthier near Liverpool, UK. I potentially have some info for you as I have worked on combo series related projects for the last 5 years, but I also have some techy questions for you. If you are interested in haveing a chat about your guitar contact me sometime at matthew@mjbluthier.co.uk All the best |

It's been awhile and I am still around, barely. Had a few health issues. The forums are great! I don't guess someone has a pick guard for a Combo 850 laying around, just teasing. I am about to buy all the parts to pretty her up some and I just used a polisher on a small area on her back. I think there was enough penetration of her original clear finish, that with a good polisher like the ones in the factory she would look great. I am trying to figure out the repair of the slight neck crack. It will open very little as is and removing the finger board is not an option. I would really fear changing how she plays herself. Thanks fo any new information as I am active again. |
