Now you're the only Glockenspiel on the Forum or do wish you were a fish again! ;-)

Quote: Glockenspiel - hahaha good one! Well, it is not exactly related to guitars or stringed instruments, but at least it is related to music - and it is an interesting instrument in the context of a classical orchestra. What more could I want than to be an interesting voice in an orchestra (or forum)? BELLS are ringing :-) ... or maybe I should PLAY: "For whom the BELL tolls ..." ;-)

Quote: Glockenspiel - hahaha good one! I'm probably tempting fate (or perhaps more accurately the mischevious wrath of JH), but be glad. You could have been Triangle. Or wobble board (a la Rolf Harris) :-) This thread is just what I needed after a rubbish day teaching...

All I know is one day I checked in here and found that I was having "a whale of a good time" (so to speak) if I liked it or not. I suppose it's okay. I'd rather be a "killer whale" orca then a puffer fish. At least the orca has the same B+W color scheme as a Ric 325 Miami. And I'm certain Lennon played his on porpoise.

I mean they're alright in their plaice while playing blues licks on a carp but I'm sick of herring about it. Oh yeah, and thank cod we don't have to walk about in high eels.

It goes without saying that if the fish nomenclature was just simply deleted from all post displays, probably a 2-minute minor adjustment to coding, that many people would wonder why the "demotion", even though the number of posts might still appear.
It's just the nature of any forum that many people kvetch, joke, complain, or show their real character (or lack thereof) only when something really insigificant is being discussed.
Glad to see that I can get real help here, and maybe contibute something of interest to others every now and then.
