I'd be happy if you could order a left handed guitar without the forever wait. Back in 1977 when I got my first 4001. It cost 425.00 and there was a 90 day wait. It was the longest summer of my short life..... it was a 14th birthday present. I'd kill for that price and wait again

I don't know about guitars, but as basses go, I think the current 4003 is the best it's ever been. Given that, I would like to see a couple of things. First off, I'd like to see the 4003 finish it's transition to vintage styling status that's been going on the last couple years with vintage truss rod cover, knobs, guard and bridge pickup surround added as standard. Have it available in all the standard colors with the following pickup options...HG:Current high gains, VP:Horseshoe bridge and Toaster neck pickups, and HB:Humbucking pickups with tone controls that double as coil taps.

4005. I don't care how much it would cost. Second would be the 481/480. I don't think a reissue of those would be as cool as a similar model of those coming out with modern mods.

+1, and a 460/12 would be quite groovy.

Quote: a 330 with binding, giving it a V64 look. yes! 330 body, double bound, bound neck & triangles end to end, toasters, vintage appointments. I'd order one yesterday if I can get.
