Hi, I have an issue.

Have an 1985 325v59 "Lennonized" . Love it. Gigging guitar, some dings dents, well played and worn. The gold truss rod cover is beat to Hell, and cracked and held together barely with tape on the back. I had never heard of such a thing as having to send a truss rod cover back to the manufacturer. OK so I did. That was over a month ago. I know it takes Ric some time to do things but now I am getting worried, and will call tomorrow. Thing is I am happy to supply serial number, pot numbers and photos of the guitar and disintegrating truss rod cover. I just hope the USPO did not mis-route it or lose it. If so what can be done to get another one. I would even have it mailed to the dealer, have the dealer install it at the shop on the guitar. I am no counterfeiter or Fakenbacker. I just want my truss rod cover on my #1 Ric! HELP! I NEED SOMEBODY, HELP, NOT JUST ANYBODY, >>>>HELP

I don't see why Rickenbacker just doesn't make these items available to their customers. God forbid someone wanting to change their pickguard and truss rod cover from white to gold or black and having your favorite Ric the way they want it.
All the accessories you want to customize your Ric should be available right from the Rickenbacker company, and for a reasonable price. But no, that would make for a satisfied customer which they obviously are not too concerned about! Just keep on pounding out the same old thing and take what we offer, they don't have time for things like these!!
