Not sure I understand your post, but there's plenty of shots of the Model 4005 in the gallery. I just turned on some additional ones in the 60's, 70's and 80's categories to reinforce that.

Uh.... Mr Hall.....I suspect that you will be getting a lot of requests for a 4005 re-issue and I realize that it is simply not in the books right now.

pity though

There is what can only be described as a feeding frenzy when they do come up for sale.

You know... If you really CAN'T re-issue the 4005...

You could re-issue the 4005/6 or 4005/8 you know ;P

My personal opinion is that the market isn't as large for this item as most people think, at least at the price point we'd have to get to support the tooling necessary.

Besides, there's many other things in the hopper that would be ahead of any consideration for a 4005 reissue.

Hopefully, one of those things is a 4001V68. :)

I'm surprised that more people don't ask for "F" series re-issues.... I've always thought they were pretty spiffy looking.

BTW, no one should read into this comment as if it's a hint or something. Your esteemed webmaster doesn't have any greater knowledge of future models than the average joe (at least at this point in time).

If *either* a 4005 or an "F" series reissue was released you'd see me scrambling to pull together some cash!
