I couldn't find it at any of the big retailers. I finally found it at a little hole in the wall news stand in Santa Monica. Maybe I should go buy them out!

Yeah, you might have to! I'm going to keep looking and see if I can track down a copy.

I've never seen an issue before - do they transcribe a few songs each month like they do in Guitar World? If so, what's this issue have in it? With Lee, Squire, and Butler it could be a heck of a swan song issue.

Yea, they transcribe a few songs each issue. Or should I say used to transcribe. The issue with Geddy on the cover has Rush - By-Tor And The Snow Dog, Shadows Fall - Destroyer of Senses, and Rage Against The Machine - The Ghost of Tom Joad. Sorry to see the magazine go, I have all but the first 2 or 3. I liked it better than Bass Player even though I subscribed to both.

I think I might have every issue. Does anyone know what the first issue was?
I think for the last year or so Bass Guitar has been better than Bass Player. I'm sure Bass Player isn't sorry to see them go!

Bass Player is probably having a victory party as we speak.(Or at least a sigh of relief.)

Which issue is this? We've still got issue 30 in the shops here (UK). It's got Chris Squire in it but Bruce Foxton on the cover. I better keep an eye out for the Geddy one.

As great as he is, and I mean great, Geddy just doesn't look as cool with his Jazz bass as he did with the 4001.

Yeah I think he dresses to match his bass now. Cause back in the days of RIC and RUSH he would ware anything. ANYTHING

I believe the issues and covers are different in the UK. Is the one you are referring to Guitar World's Bass Guitar? The last one with Geddy on the cover is July 2007. Also Guitar One's last issue just came out with Alex Lifeson on the cover. At least they went out in style with the best!

Apparently the magazine with Bruce Foxton on the cover is a completely different magazine?
