OK. Back in 1992 when my 1981 4002 was in the depreciation stage of its existence, it was my main #1 bass on stage, without backup. I played the dickens out of it. Now that in the past few years interest in the 4002 has rekindled and it is worth geometric multiples to collectors compared to what I paid for it, yes, I bring it to small friends', church, and other private gigs and to the studio, and leave it at home for larger stage gigs.

I just love it when John Hall steps in and sets the record straight. I am getting quite an education on this site.

This is why I cancelled my subscription years ago, I could see where they were headed. "Social Sciences" are not science.

Yes, I agree, but universities make gazillion bucks on tuition for the so-called "social science" majors: psychology, sociology and political science. As for me, I was a political science major in undergrad, not because I was really interested in other countries' political systems, or even our own, Model United Nations, etc., but because it had the least requirements so I could get my degree quickly and get on to law school before my deceased father's survivor social security benefits ran out and I had to start relying on student loans.
