Does the new updated bass bridge have the capability to go lower than the old style? My C64 bridge is at its lowest and has had saddles filed down... will the new bridge help me out in any way?

The new V.2 bridge/tailpiece does go lower than the previous version, eliminating tail lift. But the screw spacing is different and new holes have to be drilled. But it's definitely an improved version. Cheers!

I have the problem with my new 4003S from 2020 (with the new V2.0 bridge) that the E-string comes not low enough. All other strings go very low without any problems. I have my neck as straight as possible, but the result is not satisfactory. I don't have any advice at the moment. Has anyone had a similar experience with the new bridge and possibly the same problem? And does anybody know how to solve the problem ?
