I have a 2008 Mapleglo 4003. Lefty. I purchased it used for mucho $ 8 years ago, and have been playing and recording with it VERY happily ever since.
Now that I’m home in isolation, I’ve had time on my hands, and looking online I see that most 4003’s seem to have a hi gain bridge and neck pickup. Mine has a toaster in the neck. Would this have been something added by the previous owner, or did some, maybe just the lefties, ship with toaster neck pu’s?

Not sure for how long, but RIC did offer the "vintage pickup" option. By requesting that option, you would get a reissue Toaster-top pickup in the neck position instead of the High-gain.
