Wow. Something really exciting from headquarters. I have longed to see new designs coming from John and Co. Rickenbacker, to me, has always been about innovation (as well as tradition). Sometimes subtle, but always present.
These new pickups look really stylish. I am glad they are Ric-style and not a look-a-like.
I am not a bass player, but this is great nonetheless. I have always admired and bought new design guitars from RIC, as well as the classics. I own a 260 as well as two 650s.
I can't wait to see what's coming next. It will be very good, I'm sure.

When is Ric going to start sending the 5's out in quantity? I've had a deposit on one since Feb. I'm getting antsy.
