I use a '68 Fender Dual Showman with 2 twelve vintage Fender cab. Great Ric bass punch!

I use Eden, a CXC110 with a 210XST and a 115XLT. Pure tone! On my wish list is a WT1205 head which is a two channel amp, where I could use one ch for the neck p/u and one ch for the bridge p/u. Endless possibilities tonal wise.

Nothing to compare with the others and I play much more guitar than bass ... I use a early '70s Yamaha 115 that I got new, it doesn't hum, is great for recording and is pretty indestructible. Down side is it weighs a ton.

Two Ampeg SVT 300w heads ('70s/'80s vintage) with two 8x10 cabs.
Sometimes I add a HiWatt Custom 200 head with 2x15 JBL cab with an Ampeg 4x10 to the mix.
Used to use a 15 inch JBL K140 in a W Bin with the 2x15 before I got the 4x10 (back in the '80s).
Usually these days I use a single SVT rig and add to it if it's a big gig.
Got a few Fenders, a Stingray and Epi TBird in the stash but the Rickenbacker is special!!!

How's your back doing?

It's funny, when I was young I liked big rigs like this but now a Markbass 500 watt head (6 lbs) and two Bose B1 cabinets (25 lbs) seems just as big sounding to my ears. A Bose Packlite amp (2 lbs) adds 275 watts to drive another two B1's, which is more than enough for anything. All of this will fit in the trunk of a Porsche 911!

When you can afford a Porsche, you can probably afford someone to move a Ampeg SVT rig on your behalf!

I use a 1961 Vox AC30 Copper top live. With this, I use my Rick 330 12 string. They sound great together! I also have a Marshall DSL 40 Valve 1x12 Combo.

I'm using a Markbass: Little Mark Tube 800 head, and an Ampeg: Heritage SVT-410HLF cab.

I have been using a QSC power amp (2500 watts, I think), Ampeg SVP tube preamp and a 4x12 Aguilar cabinet. Prior to that, my rig was an Ampeg SVT 4-Pro.
Fender basses might have evenness and consistency on their side, but Rics have something that Fenders lack....PERSONALITY. And that comes through in spades with this setup.
I'm currently in a band that plays the standard NW Pennsylvania Rural blend of 50s, Elvis and country. Hey, it keeps us busy around here.
