Just an update I got about two hundred saved
and it looks like next year. It will be nice
to play a Rickenbacker thru my AC-30TBX. What
color should it be Fireglow Mapleglow or the
new color?

Mapleglo like on my 350 looks beautiful as does fireglo, montezuma brown and burgundy which are equally stunning!

Jetglo seems to be the 'standard' finish for a 350V63 these days so you would have to do some looking...

Cheers, Kez

The 350V does look stunning in MG.

That finish on that model is pretty rare. I hardly ever see those in the factory.

This of course is very nice to know!

I had searched high and low for a 350V63 that was not in Jetglo, and after much effort found it! The guitar was specially ordered in mapleglo by it's previous owner back in the late '90's.

Lately I'm tracking down another 350 in Montezuma Brown!

3 Rickenbackers in just over 3 months, I think that expresses my enthusiasm for my new guitar obsession.

Cheers, Kez

Kez,
The 350V63 in Mapleglow is a very cool color there
are not that many around. I think the same could be
said for Fireglow. I'm just thinking how it would
look in Blueburst because that a color I would like
to buy. Do you know if Rickenbacker will do any with
F-Holes. The 350V63 just has a sound all its own no
other guitar sounds like that.

Lou,

I'd say these are questions best answered by RIC sales staff, offhand I would think that a 'Rose Morris style' 350V63 with F hole would not be contemplated.

I have heard RIC staff here in these forums stating that they have enough orders and backlog of core models to finish without having to retool for 'limited runs'.

If you custom order one from the factory you could probably get a stock 350V63 in Blueburst, again RIC staff could tell you more about it.

Would look very nice in Blueburst, also if you play fairly loud the lack of F foles prevents most squealing feedback, yet is still surprisingly 'acoustic' in it's tone when strummed un-plugged.

These are great little guitars, I think I need to get another one...

Cheers, Kez

Kez, I was wondering could you loan me
a 350V63. Just kidding I saw your pictures
they all look great. I hope to get mine next year
when I have the money. A friend said to me why don't
you sell your Gretsch and I said no way because having
a Rickenbacker and a Gretsch is the best of both worlds.
I'm checking different music stores web sights that
stock Rickenbackers and when I find the one that I want
then I will buy it. I would really like the see a 350V63
in Blueburst or any other color and play it first. Just
as long as the guitar is setup. Good luck with your
new 350V63 the three of them look Great.
