Hi - I spend some time on the Fender Forum and I always liked how they had different threads for different types of guitars. Are the Rickenbacker owners out there interested in contributing to a model-specific thread? I'd be happy to start up 330 and 381V69 threads.

Thanks for any replies.

Kelly,

Good lidea! I started a 620 appreciation thread and it's still barely clinging to life.

I thought this might be a discussion of your current haberdashery fashion!

I've got a Rickenbacker sweatshirt in Jetglo that features Rick-O-Sight.

I'd vote for staying as we are. The disadvantage of extra threads is that information gets lost or duplicated, wasting nice Mr Hall's bandwidth, and the only way round that is to continually check every thread, wasting his time. This isn't the fastest website in the world (and that's not a complaint, just an observation. If it takes that long, that's how long it takes. I don't mind, I'm in the office!).

Just to stir things up: how much faster would the RIC staff produce the goods if they didn't know that the CEO is in HIS office chatting with all us wwwasters? ;-)

I'm actually wearing my Rickenbacker T-shirt right now - I love casual Fridays (and Mr. Hall's use of the word haberdashery!). I've never found this to be a slow website myself, but all ISP's are not created equal. Anyway, I just thought I'd suggest it. So far, the interest seems lukewarm. My 330 is Desert Gold by the way - a far nicer color in person than in photographs.

Not quite sure if I get your meaning here, but I think that our (John, Ben, Kenny, Myself) time spent here durring the work day would qualify as work related internet usage....what's your excuse??!! (Since I'm not big on the whole smiley face thing, I'll just tell you that I'm kidding around here)

Actually, most of them know that I can see them quite well from my window!

More seriously, individual performance is quite carefully documented.
