Greetings,
Hoping to get someone's help in confirming the strings shipped with the wonderful 480XC. I have searched every possible article, posting, ad about the guitar but can't find what strings were placed there from the factory.
Why is this important? My 480XC has the most amazing feel, it is tight, vibrant, resonant and I want to keep it like that. However, the strings do not feel like the usual Ric 10s. Not sure if it is the particular effect of the guitar on the strings, or, if there is a different gauge on this particular one ( maybe mixed, more bottom heavy strings?)

You would be better off asking Rickenbacker. They will give you the correct information.
