Hi!

The purpose of this thread is straight forward.

I know there are plenty of delighted highly enthusiastic 325 owners of all vintages and configurations (as well as their guitars!) who are members of this Forum.

What I propose here is an on going and hopefully endlessly perpetuating Thread with open discussions on such things as the player/owners experiences with them, the various sonic uniquenesses of them, the 3/4 scale playing differences/possible challenges, collectivity and various restoration issues experiences, etc., etc.

In other words, a comprehesive Thread on all things Ric 325.
I would merely request though, that the discussion(s) generated here on this Thread for the ongoing sake of rock solid continuing good information and clearity focus EXCLUSIVELY around the Ric 310/320/325 (and RM 1996) series alone.

As the proud owner of a 325C64 JG I truly believe that these 3/4 scale guitars are unique to the world and that all of us 325 aficionados can do a lot of learning from our collective sharing of insights.

Somehow I've managed to collect four of them, with neither of the c series versions (unless you count the 1996) as of yet. But this thread sounds like a great idea.

I've got a Jetglo 325V59, which I've Lennonized. It can be seen here:

This thread is a good idea - but on the other hand, when I think of the many 325 threads we have had in recent times, maybe there should be a special section on the forum dedicated to the 325 rather than just one thread: "Just Guitars" - "Just Basses" - "Just 325" ;-) ...

I've a Jetglo 325v63 and a 325/12v63. I think that it's really a cool idea to get something like this together to celebrate the uniqueness of the model and how we all enjoy and appreciate this guitar.

here's the link to a pic of them together:

Doc,

I would certainly to LOVE if this is what to become of this Tread!

Unfortunately, that it is not a call I'm able to make from my end.

Hopefully we will get a sympathetic Webmaster and/or John Hall
involved to our collective plight here and make this happen for us! :)

Alas, I don't own one, yet, but will be lurking! An easy argument for this being the single most important guitar model in rock-n-roll could very easily be made. Good luck.

Lennon21182 That's some collection.

Reminds me of the old muso riff:

"My wife says if I buy another guitar she's gonna leave me...I sure will miss that gal."

I presume you're single :~)

Love and peace.
