Hi everyone,
I finally realised my dream of owning one of these great guitars! This 660 was made in 2008. I am just blown away by the workmanship and of course, the sound of this great instrument!
Here are some photos

Congratulations !!!!
I know your joy. I have both the 6 and the 12 and they’re truly functional works of art.
Good on ya bud!

That is just gorgeous..! I've been having acquisition syndrome for the 660/12 lately. The cresting wave is a classic body style.

It its such a classic design...it won me over the 360s I was looking (although I'll probably get a 360 too eventually!)
Mine has incredible sustain...the guitar literally shakes when you strum hard...so responsive, and I still need to take it in for a full set-up.
And then there's the looks...sometimes I just flip the case open and just...well...stare at it!
A thing of beauty!

I have just bought a 2011 660/6 in MG supposedly used. Well whoever owned it must have been wearing cotton wool gloves because it is absolutely mint not a mark anywhere on it. The set up was poor on it so I had it checked over had the intonation and action sorted by a top guitar tech here in the UK and it plays fantastic. The best thing of all is a new one here is £2679 best price and mine was £1450. A great deal. And just for the record the TP I bought in 1991 was so poorly finished I sent it back to Ricks office in Manchester as it had been a special order with a 12 week delivery date. When they checked it they agreed and diverted another one to me which was perfect. So I believe the ones made now are better quality.
