The only "Kluson-style" tuner I would and do use is the current Tone-Pros version.

I had a 2016 Gibson 50s Gold Top Les Paul which had their self tuning mechanism on which I thought was crap so took it off and replaced with Grover's Rotomatics in chrome with tulip keys. Absolutely excellent. And for all those of you who like a wide thick guitar neck I recommend this Gibson. Personally I could not get on with it and sold it at a loss but I find the 660/6 totally comfortable.

I am totally confused. I recently bought a 2011 660/6 second hand and after reading the topic on here I thought I would check what the tuners are. They say Ric Deluxe so does that mean they are a tuner made for Rickenbacker or are they a Kluson carrying Rickenbackers name? Someone put me out of my misery please.

The 2019 spec for machine heads says Gotoh vintage style. Now it just confused me more.
