And I always keep saying to my myself, that if I ever get my hands on a six-string lefty CW and a lefty 730S, my guitar-buying days would be over.

But than again, I have no idea what RIC is going to offer for the 75th anniversary.

Just reading Tony Bacon's Rickenbacker Electric 12 String book and it states "309 produced with a small number given to the Wilson Family" Is the cat out of the bag, is it 309 12 string and 191 six string? Perhaps we'll never know.

309?

Surely that should be "she's real fine my...409!"

I'm the lucky guy who owns number 409. It's a fire-glo 12 and yes, she's real fine.

I got a lefty 730S in 2007, but still need a six-string lefty CW. BTW, my lefty 360/12 CW is #147.

I don't remember Carl being an avid user of a 360, only occasionally. He used a Gibson 12 for many years, which Jeff Foskett now uses.

No, Carl used an Epiphone 12 string with a Gibson neck.

He did use a Rickenbacker on classics like "California Girls." The Epiphone was his stage guitar, but there are pictures of him using Rickenbackers live.

He's using a 360/12 Double-Bound on a TAMI show clip (1964) playing "Surfer Girl" and "I Get Around".

Recordings besides "CG", you can hear a Rick on "Fun, fun, fun" "Sloop John B" "Surfin' USA" "Help Me, Ronda" and "Dance, dance dance".
