I watched Ken Burns documentary on PBS about Country Music recently. Being rather disappointed not to see any historical photos of players with Ricks, I finally spotted one. I can't post it here, for obvious legal reasons, but I can tell you where to look on the PBS web site if you have the time. If you stream Episode 6 "Will the Circle be Unbroken", at exactly 37 minutes and 40 seconds there is a fleeting shot of Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, and Grahm Parsons sitting together. Roger is holding a Rickenbacker electric banjo. It would be really nice if there was some way to add this photo to the Rick archives. |
