I watched Ken Burns documentary on PBS about Country Music recently. Being rather disappointed not to see any historical photos of players with Ricks, I finally spotted one. I can't post it here, for obvious legal reasons, but I can tell you where to look on the PBS web site if you have the time.

If you stream Episode 6 "Will the Circle be Unbroken", at exactly 37 minutes and 40 seconds there is a fleeting shot of Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, and Grahm Parsons sitting together. Roger is holding a Rickenbacker electric banjo.

It would be really nice if there was some way to add this photo to the Rick archives.

According to Roger McGuinn, that Rickenbacker Model 6000 Bantar made its way to Doug Dillard.
