iiipopes, just got the new diagram, thanx! Looking forward to getting the others as well.
John Hall and RIC, thank you for allowing this to transpire on your corporate site.
I am using all RIC parts ordered from the boutique to make this happen. I tried using some extra p/pull I had laying around and it didn't work. I should have just ordered RICs in the first place.
Lesson learned, and will be wiring it all up as soon as the new parts arrive.

I have now had this mod completed on both my 370/12 and 370/6, and a two pickup variant done on my 360/6 and 381v69, all with Ric-sourced parts, including toasters where there were previously hi-gains, and now all four of them are simply awesome. I am humbled by the daunting prospect of my meagre playing skills being able to do justice to such magnificent guitars.

iiipopes is one great and generous dude, and hats off to you, amigo. I would love to see this mod adopted as Ric's standard wiring.

iiipopes,

I got my RIC p/pulls and am anxiously awaiting the 2 pickup mono version of your diagrams.

I need to gut my 330 and start from scratch because of some other things I added a few years back and cannot find the diagram I drew of the original wiring.

Thank you for drawing these out and helping so many of us realize new and exciting possibilities with our instruments.

Thanks to RIC for letting this all happen on their website.

OK, we had an unseasonable cold snap this weekend, complete with snow and frost. So after I got home from the Scout campout, instead of pulling out the lawnmower this Sunday afternoon, I sat down and did the 2-pickup versions. So, now I have 4 versions for the push-pull on the 5th knob, depending on what everyone wants:

320: 3 pickup, mono (also 325 5-knob variants, 340 & 350);
330: 2 pickup, mono (also 660);
360: 2 pickup, stereo (also 620 & 381V69);
370: 3 pickup, stereo.

These may work on other models, but I can't guarantee they'll work at all, as this is a non-factory personal modification. All I can say is the 320 and the 360 versions work on my guitars.

So, please post your email address and which one(s) you want. They're all in pdf and @ 60kbytes in size. Again, please read my disclaimers above. Also again, if you modify your guitar, please use only authentic RIC sourced parts.

I'll try to backtrack to the top of this thread to send to everyone who has requested previously, but if I miss you, and you don't get them after a few days, please post again.

And also as above, if you do modify your guitar's wiring to one of these diagrams, please post your impressions and how it changed how or for what music you play the guitar, both good and bad.

And thanks again to Mr. JH and everyone at RIC for letting me post these on the factory sponsored forum. They don't have to allow this, as they are modifications to the stock factory wiring.

iiipopes,
Glad to hear the weather didn't cancel the Webelos outing.

I would greatly appreciate the 330 mono, and 360 stereo diagrams.

Thank you very much

Hi iiipopes,
I'd like to get the 360 diagram also. . . (I already have the 370 mod from you). Thanx again for sharing this info, what a cool mod and thanx also to Ric for allowing it on their corporate website.
