Hello Iipopes,

Thanks very much for your help ! I'd need the 360 with Rick-O-Sound wiring diagram, and the 330-style mono one : jeremy.mioque@gmail.com

Again, thank you so much !

Jeremy

UPDATE: after receiving requests for the diagram to mod a 2-pickup instrument, especially after RIC began putting a push-pull on the 4003 bass, everyone please remember that when modding a two-pickup guitar, like a 330 or 360, that the only thing my mods do is the same as on the current 4003 bridge pickup wiring: in-out for the inline .0047 capacitor to the bridge pickup. For that, you can use that section of the 4003 wiring diagram to wire the current RIC push-pull part of the control out of the Boutique to wire the mods, whether on the 5th knob, as my diagrams do, or on another knob, as the 4003 wiring diagram shows.

ALSO: since the neck pickup on a 24-fret instrument is roughly between where the neck pickup and middle pickup on a 21-fret instrument is, experience has shown that there isn't that much to be gained tonally by adding a 3rd pickup to a 2-pickup 24-fret instrument.

THANKS again to Mr. JH and all the RIC crew for allowing this thread.

iiipopes, can you send me the wiring diagram as well. I plan on making a Rickenbacker style guitar from scratch and would love to wire it up like you.

Thanks,

Joe, when you get a real Rickenbacker, let me know and I will email it to you.

Hi,
I would love to do this mod as I have been obsessing over the first two Who records and feel I am ready to live in the middle position. I have a mono 330 and would love to have the push pull on the fifth blender knob. Much thanks!!! jonathan.cummins@gmail.com

Hi,
I would love to get sent the pdf for this mod as I have been obsessing over the first two Who records and want to live in the middle position. Just got a pair of scatterwounds installed so this could be the last piece of the puzzle. I have a mono two pickup 330 and would love to put the push/pull pot on the fifth blender knob. Much thanks!!!

Bionic, email sent.

For everybody: remember that for two pickup instruments, my mods function like the newer 4003 wiring: the inline .0047 capacitor to the bridge pickup either in or out. So everyone who wants to mod a two pickup instrument can use the push-pull from the RIC boutique:

iiipopes,

I know I'm very late to this thread. However, I have studied this thread for weeks and purchased all items I need in the Boutique. I also understand what you are saying about the new 4003 bass wiring.

My problem is that I am very new to wiring electronics. I own a 2005 - 360/12 and have wiring diagrams of the 4003 as you mention but I am not sure what I'm looking at to some degree. Just to make sure, is there a possibility that you could send me your diagram for the 360/12? If nothing else, just for my peace of mind?

I joined the forums after many years of not being a member just because of you and your rick knowledge. If you can do this I would very much appreciate it and have more confidence in what I'm doing to my rick.

My email is: stew-crew@comcast.net Thank you very much.
