Know I'm bringing up a dormant post, sorry But I have a 2010 360/12 and would appreciate the appropriate schematic/layout for the mod Thanks! m.bacc6666Also, the high gain pickups are approx 12K I understand, I believe I've heard about lower output versions of these, is that correct?

Please send me a private message with your email address and I will send you the diagrams.
I will say that since you only have two pickups on your guitar, the wiring is essentially the same as on the current 4003 basses using the factory push-pull, because all my diagrams do on two pickup guitars, and this includes the current 4003, is to switch the .0047 inline capacitor in or out. I put it on the fifth knob so all knobs retain their factory functions, and with the smaller knob, the instrument passes the "five-foot" test, meaning that when engaged, a person can't tell you have modified the instrument from the front of the stage.
The current toaster pickups have about 7.4 kohms' worth of wire on them, and are modern recreations of the famous pickups.
The current hi-gains with the adjustible pole pieces may have a few less turns of wire than some of the older hi-gains, but with the adjustible polepieces can give more shades to the tone depending on how the player adjusts both the height of the pickup and the relative height of the polepieces.

Hello iiipopes, I've been reading the last 11 years worth of comments on your impressive 5th-knob modification. Could you send a copy of the diagram to do this mod on a 1998 330/12 with hi-gains? damonlevine@gmail.comThank you P.S. I understand Ric no longer sells the push-pull knob but I'll source it elsewhere.

Hello iiipopes, I've just acquired my 1st Rickenbacker after many decades of hoping and wishing! It happens to be a 350 from 1995. I just learned about your mod and I'd love to try it. Could you please send me the diagram? Thank you, tweeker@verizon.net

Good evening from France fellows, I've been loving my 360 for years. I've owned so many guitars, but that one is definitely THE one. Something magic going on. I need a tad more brightness and edge out of the bridge pickup, some I wonder if the Almighty iiipopes could send over to me the 360 wiring diagram for his mod, as I'm having hard times figuring out how to wire that with the Rick-O-Sound device. Plus, I must confess I've got a 330 on the way, so if I could get both, I'd be a happy-happy man. Thanks for your patience iiipopes, Jeremy jeremy.mioque@gmail.com
