Hi guys, Just got a 4005XC and it's in need of adjustment. Unfortunately, the instrument didn't come with a truss rod key, so I wanted confirmation on what size the hex nut is supposed to be from the manufacturer. Thanks! |

Answering myself: 4mm. That said, there was a tiny bit of slop in mine, so I got a gripper from StewMac (tapered from slightly undersized to slightly oversized), and it's able to engage perfectly and snugly: https://www.stewmac.com/luthier-tools-a ... -wrenches/ |
