I'm looking for a replacement part for the "R"-Tailpiece for my RIC 360/12, which I bought in 1991 in Miami at ACE MUSIC CENTER. The old one is broken into two pieces. Part number: 01119 BLK 12string. Unfortunatly it's not possible to order one from distributors here in Germany. I would like to follow Rickenbacker's policy and trade in the broken part. For that I've to know the correct procedure: What's the correct address to send the broken part? Where can I place the order for the new Tailpiece? (It's not offered in Rickenbacker's Boutique). Is there anybody, who can give some informations about this item ? I really would like to have my guitar in the original condition and without the tailpiece it's just only a dust catcher. |

Certain trademarked features on Rickenbacker guitars are what's known as "controlled" items so that they don't end up on junk guitars or a custom build. This would include the nameplate and "R" tailpiece, and it means they are not offered for sale as a regular catalog item. But as you mentioned, just send the broken part to them in exchange for a new one at a reasonable cost. You will need to contact the factory directly, either by phone or send an email to Customer Service. Browse the menus at the top of the page for help. |
