I recently purchased a 370/12 in Dec of 2016. I previously owned a 1982 360/12 and I always wanted the 370 with toasters. The serial number is 02 20528

My issue/ question is on the neck. On the back side you can feel a ridge where the wood is glued (mine is a maple glow) so you can easily see the differences in the wood. While it seems minute, the closer you get to the body the more pronounced it is. It is only on one side. The other side is perfect.

My 360 does not feel this way. Is this normal on a maple glow?

Thank you

I have a 1966 370-12 MG and it has the ridges too, no effect on the neck angle or action. When you consider mine is a 50 year old guitar, I would not worry about it.
