 Post subject: Rickenbacker factory e-tour

I was just looking at the factory tour offered on the link above and couldn't help noticing the beautiful finishes on the guitars and basses shown. I used to custom paint cars, so I know how hard it can be to get that smooth finish. I especially loved the pictures of the 4003 that was being painted in fireglo (like mine). My hat is off to the great people at the RIC factory who do such a fantastic job. And to John Hall for his uncompromising standards.

Hey Greg,
I painted cars for 17 years...until I couldn't stand the fumes anymore. I then when back to school and got my degree in Software Engineering.
