Oh come on.... Can't anybody help me out here?
Would you be interested in using the case you have, with a simple to do customization to get a glove fit?

It was both fit and smell.... It sounds like the fit issue is fixable, but the case still stinks, and if I get my Ric refinished, I don't want it to come back to me smelling like THAT!

Melissa, I've had good results with Carpet Fresh--the stuff that comes in a cardboard can. It's a powder that you sprinkle on pet accident areas (put delicately--your two boys can probably translate this). But it won't smell like a new Rick case, only a new case can smell like that...

Aha! Carpet Fresh--why didn't I think of that? We've got a can of that around; I have to use it in the guest/music room after my sister-in-law and her husband come to stay for a few days with their three dogs.... It sweetens the area right up! Hopefully it will do the same for the case--I guess I can deal with the fact that it is merely ugly and beat up and has somebody else's nickname stenciled in big letters on top of it; though maybe there is something I can use to safely remove the paint from the Tolex? I'm sure you would know, Paul!
