I don't see any obvious existing thread, in which to post this, so... "Hi!" from Brewski - a new member from over here in England.

I have been playing Rickenbackers since 1976, and still own a 1966 450/12 in Fireglo, a 79 4001 in AzureGlo, a JetGlo 350 SH "Susanna Hoffs" (#191) from 1989 and a 97 350v63 in JetGlo too....

Looking forward to being here.....

welcome Brewski

I am fairly new as a ric player but I had always lusted after one. I live on the east coast of Canada and rics are not that common here. I had to go to Toronto to find mine. An '80 fireglo 4001.

a truly wonderful thing it is

cheers

Welcome Brewski,

I had a RIC back around '80-'81 but have been playing mostly fenders, and homebrewed Jazz's lately. Just purchased a new 4003 FG. It's great to see the forum growing so fast. I've been a member of the FDP for several years and I know that there is always better advise and conversation with more people...It's good to have you here

Thanks for the welcome guys.... good to find a bunch of like minded people....

MPN.... maybe we've met? I've been around the block a few times :)

Hi Lanztek... I am what they laughingly refer to as a "consultant", after 20 yrs of Assembler programming/systems design for ATMs and Business Systems... (Hello? are you still awake?)

Am 46 yrs old, now. And I play Rickies, Teles and SGs for fun.

I've yet to own (or even *play*) a Ric, but someday... someday.

I'm a longtime Gretsch-and-Fender man, but I know a Ric is in my future. There's this one I've got my eye on, it's called a Jazz-Bo - MF said it'll be in stock next week... ;^)
