Hi Everyone! First off, for those of us who attended the 2005 SoCalCon this weekend, I would like to once again say a big Thank You to Mr. and Mrs. Hall for taking the time out of their Saturday to be there! It was a pleasure and an honor to meet you both yesterday!

Never have I seen so many beautiful Rickenbackers in one place, as well as the amazing variety! I took one of my 67 4005s and the '68 366-12 that was my brother's to the show yesterday.

It was a pleasure to meet everyone at the show, and I look forward to the next SoCalCon...I will most likely bring my other 67 4005 (the Burgundy one!), and mt 4003/8 and my '73 4001....possibly my 1941 lap steel, too!

Once again, Thank You John Hall, for continuing the rich tradition of creating the world's finest guitars!
Jim Blake, aka 4005Player

Jim, an 8 string bass and a lap steel guitar would have gotten us two more modeks that we didn't have. It was great to meet you also along with everyone else. You have to bring all your Ricks next year!!

Many thanks to John Hall and his wife.

Absolutely! Thanks, John, for taking a lot of your time to mix with a bunch of enthusiasts. I'm looking forward to seeing what RIC has in store for the 75th anniversary next year.

In retrospect, we shoulda asked you to sit down and play one of those gorgeous acoustics you brought over to the hotel. Or the "dumpster" bass!

See you next year!

Actually, I told you exactly what's up for next year but I don't think anyone was listening!

You're right, it was a good time and I was happy to meet everyone.

For those of us who weren't there, what's on for next year Mr H? I need to start planning my holiday!
