So, I've been doing a little diving into RIC electronics, mainly trying to figure out why my neck/bass tone control has no tone change effect. Anyway, here's a few photos, 6 altogether split between two posts (seems to be a limit of three per post). These photos are of my 330/6, which except for the stereo output jacks, is similar to a 360. All wiring, regardless of guitar, begins with pickup connections at the switch. From the switch, selected pickup signals zip along to the capacitors and potentiometers that modify or control the nature of the output to an amplifier.
For the folks interested but entirely uninitiated, I began by posting just a couple of photos of the switch. The switch design is pretty interesting, in that unlike a true selector switch on a telecaster, etc., the center position of the RIC toggle has both pickups always "on." When selecting the bridge/treble pickup, the toggle disconnects the neck/bass pickup connection, leaving the bridge pickup on. When selecting the neck pickup (or neck & middle pickups for unmodified 3-pickup guitars) the toggle disconnects the bridge pickup. A steady-state system:
everything always on until something isn't.
