In 2020, I engrossed myself in the world of pedals after buying my second Dyna Comp and a Joyo Fulltone OCD clone, and my wife surprised me with a Wampler Ego Compressor. What's cool about Wampler is they're not only made in America, but they're also either improvements on existing designs or tasteful new designs. Unlike the Dyna Comp that squashes the brightness, the Ego has a tone knob that can pull those highs back in and a blend knob that allows you to mix in your dry signal. It can get the McGuinn sound, though it's the industry standard in Nashville now.
Anyone have any cool compressors or other pedals?

I'm using a Truetone Route 66 compression/overdrive which is a great pedal. Also a Boss compressor that is classic. Plus an MXR reverb pedal with 6 different settings, all classic. Cheers!
