A lot of folks wondering if Rickenbacker is setting themselves up to be sold off and absorbed into a Corporation. People like to speculate. This may be a discussion on Facebook. Not a fan of Facebook myself. Maybe I'm to old. If that's the case, maybe I can direct other peoples concerns to that entity for their answers.
Personally, I think things a Rickenbacker are the same as they always have been. But, maybe a coherent explanation of the the GC/MF thing could be had within this thread? The only person I can think of that has the true nature of the story is John Hall, if it's not being to presumptuous.

Guitar Center is in deep financial trouble as we know, MFI is their online company. I think RIC is just cutting ties with them now. I don't think RIC is going to be sold anytime soon. This is just my speculation.

Ric is not the only company that has stopped supplying GC/MF. Would you send them product if you had no confidence in being paid? This is likely a prudent move on Ric’s part.
