I was thrilled to see the new basses, even though I am a guitar player. RIC is currently keeping the new designs on a very limited basis. I am sure the reasons are sound (pun intended). Yet I have always been one of those who crave new guitars from this company.
I was sad to see the 200 series go because this design was quite different from the rest of the line. I liked that balance it created.
It is probably a good thing for me that they do not have a completely new design because I would immediately have to have it.
My hope is that before too many more years there will be one. I am of the opinion that it would be a good seed for the distant future. I think it would generate fresh enthusiasm for the rest of the line. The classic models will likely be the top sellers for a very long time to come. But I would like to see this kind of growth. My two cents.
