For those interested, one of the elusive McGuinn warranty parts 370-12's has been listed on eBay. Square heel, check binding, and standard 370 wiring, just like the non-compressor equipt 370-12RM. I've read that Rickenbacker made a few of these after all of the "real" McGuinns went out of warranty, and the spare replacement parts ere no longer needed in stock.
