I'll go with my 325/12v63. I know, I know... But, it's still my favorite Rickenbacker... Lennon vibe & Harrison sound in the same guitar... When you think of it like that, what could possibly beat that combination? Plus, no matter how big & well-populated that desert island might be, it's undoubtedly going to be the only 325/12v63 there... (Japan not being a desert island... ;-) ). Hopefully the amp would be my "sized-to-match" Vox Pathfinder SMR "Mini Stack". Even on the smallest of desert islands, there'll be plenty of room to spare.

I'm with the Eggman. My 360MG with vintage toasters, Have to have lots of strings and picks... and my chord encyclopedia.

Can I have Internet access to just tab and chord sites? I dont' want to be rescued until I figure out that lick in Needles and Pins by the Searchers.

No brainer... my 260. That thing is so solid, I could smash open coconuts with it and still not knock it out-of-tune. ;-p

It would have to be my '97 330FG, converted to a 345. Not the most desireable Ric in my stable, but somehow it get's the nod everytime. Just got a '97 360 with a beautiful thin neck & a gorgous FG, about to be modded to a 375....time will tell if it'll take over....

Undoubtedly my '99 (think that's the year - I'll check the serial number) 1997SPC/VB fireglo.

That's a tough one...
If there is a deserted band to play with, it would be my '71 4001.
Otherwise, it would have to be my Carl Wilson 360/6. It sounds great with or without an amp.

I'm not sure how anyone could argue against the amazing 360-12! Just an amazing piece of art and instrument.

Now I realize that bass players may feel differently... but still!

I decided that I would have to take my 360 MG (with HBs) to the island.
